May 8, 1898, Roger Sherman was the ninth chapter chartered in the State of Connecticut. This chapter serves the New Milford area and is one of 40 chapters currently in the state. Current membership includes women in New Milford, Connecticut, as well as additional members from fourteen states. We are enthusiastic women volunteering proudly to serve God, Home, and Country. We have over 100 members among the 186,000 members worldwide that believe in serving our veterans and active military personnel, participating in historic preservation, and supporting education programs throughout the year.
